| My first visit will be for an initial consultation, which will typically involve discussions surrounding your concerns, gathering of background information, formal/informal assessment of your child's speech and/or language development and specific advice. The initial consultation may also include a programme of activities for home, and a report outlining assessment results and recommendations which can be sent to any other professionals involved, for example, school staff, GPs, or local speech and language therapists. Following the initial consultation it may be appropriate to arrange a series of therapy or follow-up sessions. These can be weekly, or less frequently depending on your child's needs and circumstances. A programme of activities can also be provided for school should this be requested. There are different fees for initial consultations, activity programmes, and therapy/follow-up sessions. My fees are updated annually, so please contact me for further information. There may also be a charge for traveling expenses depending on where you live.
